Service for 12 mikasa rosewood china set. Dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, teacups and plates. Also serving dishes: two large plates, two large bowls, and sugar bowl. All matching pattern: gold and floral rim. Flowers in center of dishes also. The bottom says: mikasa fine china narumi Japan rosewood 5851.

Any pottery from Japan marked "Japan" will post date 1921, pieces made before that date are usually marked "NIPPON", the Japanese word for the country's name. In today's market sets like this have very limited value. They were made in huge numbers for export, at auction sets like this right now are hard to sell, often going for less than $200.00
