Description
Set of two ivory horses, one with mark on the saddle I cannot decipher. It appears naturally aged with some handling wear areas - perhaps it was used at some point as a child's toy?
I have submitted this for expert appraisal but want to know anything I can about it. I love learning the stories behind antiques (presuming this is genuine). I purchased it at the estate auction of a wealthy Chinese family in CA.

underside can see matrix of medium, presumed ivory. Apparent mark on upper central saddle of one of the horses. They are mounted on what appears to be rosewood. dimentions are for the ivory piece only without mounting.
