They have beautifully carved wood. Internal feels like springs.

Size and dimensions of this item settee is 34 inches wide, 33 inches high, 20 inches deep, 14 1/2 inches from floor to the top of seating cushion,chair is 19 inches wide, 32 inches high, 19 inches deep, 14 1/2 inch from floor to the top of cushion.

History It was given to us by Mother-in-law that purchased it from a antique auction in Alabama. I was told it might be Edwardian
