Description Top is not very ornate, just the handle has a small pattern, sort of like raindrops. The base is also plain with the exception of the edging along the top (where the lid would sit). This also repeats the raindrop like pattern with the addition of some leaves. I indicated this as good condition because the bottom seems to have some scratches & there is also an area where I believe the hallmark once existing and has been worn away. I can make out what appears to be some letters and numbers, but I can't make out enough of it to even guess at what it says. We are not sure if we want to sell the piece just yet, but we would like to have an idea of the value before making such a decision.
