This item is about 3 in long and 5 when you push the side knob which brings out the prongs. It is only about a 1/4 wide when pulled in the prongs fit inside and the ball on the end is flush there is also an o ring on one end where you could hang from a chain. The items were stored in silverware chest so thinking something for food but some have said maybe a cleaner for flutes. It is silver and that is the only mark on the item. Thanks for any help.
Re: Silver tool
It looks like a sterling whine whisk that is damaged (missing most of the end ball prongs). Value won't be much to a collector due to condition. Maybe $10-15.
