Description I found this jug in a field near the village of Riccall in North Yorkshire, where Harald Hardrada's fleet was moored during the abortive invasion of 1066. There was an Anglo-Saxon settlement there at the time. Height: 68mm. Width: 42mm. I would be interested to hear any ideas about its possible origin.
