Spinet Desk

By jmpowers, 22 May, 2010
Description

I bought this very good condition Spinet Desk from a friend in Galveston, Texas in 1999. She is somewhat of an antique buff, and said she had acquired the desk some years prior. My parents had an identical desk in the late 40's when I was a small child in Michigan. The desk is in great shape, with the piano-hinged, fold-back top and very nice turned legs. It has one full-width drawer, a slide-out writing surface, and 7 pigeon holes of various sizes in the back.
