Description Saxony style spinning wheel made in WV by a local craftsman.

Distinguishing marks Maker's mark on the bottom of the treadle.
Condition Excellent
Date Period made after October 1947
History My father-in-law purchased this used in the late 70's. It had to have been made after October 1947 because the maker's mark has a 304 area code, which went into use in October 1947. The phone number is no longer in service. The bottom of the spindle of the longer piece by the handle has been repaired.

sadly no big value in the current market. spinning wheels had their last big run up in value durint the antique mad 1980's, since thn values have collapsed compared to what they were. today one like this might go at auction for $100.00- $150.00
