this is a neat little old whiskey (I think) bottle. It was for a brand called "The Spot". It has an array of arrows lined up at the bottom which point to an encircled bit of text that simply says "The Spot Bottle". The design is almost identical on both sides, the difference being that the arrows go up a little higher on the side where the 'federal law prohibits...' spiel. There are also circles indented on the sides of the bottle with a couple of arrows. On the base of the bottom it says "PAT APP FOR 174 12-8". I've seen quite a few different old whiskey and wine bottles on digs and cleaning out and demolishing houses (but saving and recycling the good lumber and other supplies), but I've never come across one quite this...charming I suppose you could say. It has interesting design elements all over. The height of the bottle is 7" and it is 3 1/2" wide at it's widest point along the frontside. as for time period or anything like that, I really don't know. The pictures didn't turn out super detailed because of the clear glass, but if you need something more tangible I could do a rubbing of the designs on request.
