STUNNING JAPANESE NEAR PERFECT SATSUMA VASE

By Antipode, 9 January, 2013
Description

The vase looks imperial. I would like to know where it was made, when, the artists name and the period it was made. There is some japanese writing on the vase itself. (I wonder what it means) and there is a mark on the bottom of the vase which should reveal the period and the artist's name. I believe it was made in the Meiji period. The item has no chips, cracks, restorations or wear. The vase is in absolute near perfect condition. If you have additional information. That would be great. Anything at all. Thank you very much

Re: STUNNING JAPANESE NEAR PERFECT SATSUMA VASE

Hello

I'm also interested in your mark as I have nearly the same one on a vase I'm currently researching.  Have you had any luck?
