Description Sturditoy tank truck. Has a working brass spigot at the end of the tank. A black metal clamping filling lid on the top of the red tank. The rubber tired red wheels turn by a steering wheel in the cab. Is approximately 18" long. Made of metal and is in fine to excellent condition.

History Purchased at Salvation Army on Clyborn in Chicago, IL in 1965. In excellent shape!, only wear is on top of front fenders. Orig. Decals for Sturdibuilt and Speedometer inside. Probably cost $4.75 originally when manufactured. Company only from 1929 - 1933 ; Founder: Victor C. Wetzel and Charles Bigney Specialty: Child-sized, pressed-steel trucks, closely akin to Buddy "L" and Keystone, but generic rather than replicating real life truck models.
