Stylish clutch box purse of cylinder design 6-7/8" X 2-3/4" hinged to open in two haves. Made from a hardwood with an inlay of alternating brass stripes and pinstripes along the bias. One of the identifications or logo has been removed. A slight darker discoloration on the wood implies a 1" X 2-1/4" label centered above the clasps and so suggests some information is missing. Information you may know and share here. Solid hinges with an effective hidden clasp closes the clutch securely. Makes a pleasant click when clasped shut or opened. On both round sides are small information stickers more like a tiny plaque with the information: "INTERNATIONAL NEW DELHI MADE IN INDIA"
Inside is lined with a suede material. When opened, releases a whiff of that poynent scent of nostalgia and CHANEL #5.
I plan to place this object upright to use as a striking art stand, but would enjoy knowing more information than I have, if available, please share and thank you.
