Taxco Silver Teaspoon

Description

Silver teaspoon with "TAXCO" imprinted on the front, and various imprints on the back.  Front of spoon is an ornate design; top portion of spoon is round, and looks like some sort of sun god.  I just found it with some old silverware, so I haven't had time to polish it.

imprinted on the back is the number 29 encircled in a design, below that the word 'sterling', the number '925', and then initials which appear to be A.V.B.

History
I don't know anything about this spoon. I found it with some other silverware that was handed down to me by my German grandmother. My grandparents spent many years in Argentina as missionaries in the early 1900s.
