Description

Theo A. Kochs Barber Chair VINTAGE. However, looking fo a specific time frame.. everthing including headrest are all original and in very good condition for age. needs minor restoation, more or less  poilish up. I've heard it's a 1920's era. it is burgundy leather (original color), and has the exact look of a 1920's model according to what some have said and pictures of 1920's models as well. I love history and antique-looking/studying so this was a pretty awesome find for me (and luckily literally right under my nose!) where I found it is a whole other story haha! 20 years ago my dad aquired this from an old family friend (in the 1990's) the guy was born at the turn of the century (1908) yes he lived quite a long life, and was a barber on and off his entire life in the northeast (a family business). apparently when the old man passed, my dad who I said was a very close family friend if not "family" he and another few were bequethed whatever he had left. during the process of cleaning out the rather large manor style northeast semi mansion, he found this chair in great condition. apparently the old man had quite a few of them, and other friends and family also have tthe others that were there. however, to this day im not sure who has them and wether or not they still do....this one is still in awesome condition even considering how old it was.
