Tsarsist Era Medallion

Description

The item is a bronze colored medallion with pre-revolutionary russion writing on it. The lettering is raised from the surface of the medallion.  I do not have a definintive translation of the writing, but it seems to be an award from the Moscow Hunt or Racing Club presented in the name of the Russian Crown Prince to a horse owner.  What for, i'm not sure. The medallion was purchased at the monthly flea market in Frankfort Germany around 1992.  No paperwork was provided.  The item is solid and has no markings around the edges and does not have a date on it.
