Hi wondered if anyone knows what the value of this pot is? It has a patent # 14632 and have only heard of one other with the same patent # on ebay from 2013 listed for $2500.00 with no picture but said it was sterling silver .925 and dates back to 1850 - 1890.

My friend who is from Turkey said it was very old and that it's NOT a Tea/Coffee pot. Stated that this is for water. Only those of prestige owned these water pitchers and they were used to wash up with. She also stated if she were to take it back to her country (Turkey) she would be offered a great deal for it because they are very rare.
