As you will see from the receipt, my mother purchased these two paintings in 1983 from an art dealer in sun city, ca.
The son of the painter wrote some information about his mother (see attached notes). Her name was Myra Clark. It appears that she married more then once. There is a short article about a Myra Agnes Dewey marring an Edward Frederick (possibly Fererick Edward?).
There is some additional background on Myra Clark provided in the note. Apparantly Myra Clark was a Gold Star president.
My mother passed away this last January 3rd. We are going to sell the paintings in an estate sale on the 17th in Seal Beach Ca. I thought that prior to that sale, I would investigate whether they have any value.
Please let me know if you ahve any info on this painter or her work.

I found no listings of Myra Clark was a president. I did find a Mitilda Clark as a member, nothing on the painters name.. I tryed .. Is there any more info then what you have?
