There are two plates, both with painted pictures of little girls on them. One plate has a brunette girl, the other plate has a blonde girl. I've tried doing a search for these particular plates, but can't find any information on them. It's probably because I'm not looking in the right place. Both plates have a lot of gold trim on the edges. They also have the MZ Altrohlau CM-R Czechoslovakia marks on the backs. These two plates belonged to my grandmother, who was born in 1913. My mother died last year and she was the last to get all the family heirlooms, so I have been going through all of them because now they've all come to me. I have no idea where most of these things came from or how old they are. I know that many of these items were handed down through the generations. These plates were kept wrapped up in blankets in a locking cedar chest for at least 25 years. That's all I know about them. A few different cameras were used to capture the pictures on the plates and the insignias on the back. It was really difficult to get a clear picture of the mark. I had to also take the pictures in different places because the light wasn't very good, even with a flash.
