Unique Rocking chair

Description

Old rocking chair passed down from generations.  All wood with original seat.  Seat is made from springs and ropes.  Chair does not get sat in due to afraid of ruining seat.

It dates from the turn of the 19th Century, without a label or tag though it's impossible to determine a maker. many manufacturers produced similar chairs during this period. They were a hot item during the 1980's, values for them in recent years have taken a bit of a plunge. We'd retail one like this in the $275.00- $300.00 range.
