Is your vase 44" without the stand? What you have is a ROSE MEDALLION or FAMILLE ROSE PALACE VASE, made in the 19th century-(1800's), with foo dog handles and serpent or dragon surmounts. One like yours sold on march 07, 2015 for 12,000.00 from EDDIE'S AUCTION AUTIONEERS in NEW YORK, but there may have been an interesting provonance with that. Another pair sold on Dec 07, 2013 that were 36 3/4 inches tall for 10,000.00 from RAGO ARTS AND AUCTION CENTER, but I have also seen as low as $2000.00. Either way, you are very lucky to have this "19TH CENTURY CHINESE ROSE MEDALLION or FAMILLE ROSE PALACE VASE W/ FOO DOG HANDLES and DRAGON SURMOUNTS. You may want to look @ getting an authentic appraisal, as even if cost to have it appriased correctly, it would most certainly be worth your while to have authenticated appraisal paper-COA "Certificate Of Authenticity" appraisal.
