Description
This loveseat / settee has a matching chair with arms and one without. These were my Mississippi grandparents' pieces, and I suspect they belonged to my great-grandmother, made by her family's furniture company in the late 19th century. They were reupholstered around 1978. There are no identifying labels or markings. The loveseat and gentleman's chair are in very good condition structurally and in their coverings. The ladies chair (the one without arms) has some spattered spots on the seat, and the frame seems a bit loose with some crackling in the finish of one of the carved wooden sides. The wood carving looks hand done, not machine made.
