Victorian settee and ladies and gents parlor chairs

Description I have a three piece set, loveseat settee and two (ladies and gents) parlor chairs that were my great grandmothers. The settee is darker green velvet and has a tag that simply says "style no. 43, cover no. 285 and VICTORIAN Montgomery, Ala.". The chairs are light green velvet and have no tags. They all have flowers carved on the top. I know they are earlier than 1970's. How can I tell who made them and when?
