Vintage armoire / dresser

I have been told this is possibly European I am not sure.It is heavily carved with what looks to be french legs. . Flowers appear to be some type of sunflowers and ribbons. Carvings are taller in height than normal. It is built with great quality solid wood all over has dovetail front and rear drawers. There is no maker's mark anywhere on outside or inside of drawers . I have found 2 of these searching the Internet only to come up with comments such as "beauty in the beast" thank you all so much for your help!!!
