This is a vintage brass and glass 10-minute hourglass sand timer,
oblong, with pale blue sand.
The owners were born in the 1930's.
He was a pharmacist and she was an English war bride who brought several trunks
of things with her when she came over on the Queen Elizabeth in 1946.
