Re: Vintage Cloisonne vases 20th century
It is my understanding that the colors pink and true black are very recent developments in the production of cloisonne. That would one indication that they are less than 100 years old, maybe much less. Older pieces also tend to be quite heavy for their size, due to the thickness of the metal (generally copper or bronze). I am pretty sure that older pieces also have gold on the very bottom instead of the nice turquoise glaze. I cannot guess the value, but they are beautiful decorator pieces.
