Vintage Elgin ladies watch "E.H. Sofo"

I got this and a number of other watches at an estate sale. It is 14k solid gold and has 4 small diamonds. The watch winds and still tells time accurately. There is a small star on the face under "Elgin". The back says "E.H. Sofo" I haven't found any numbers to identify the watch and I am not qualified to take it apart. I want to know what it's worth and when it was made. Thanks in advance.
