Description

Hi!My name is Angel, & I just recently opened up an Etsy shop of my own. I came across this site while I was looking for info on a silver/chrome-ish colored Manning Bowman & Co tray with a handle & cutout decorations around the edges.I bought the tray at an estate sale. I think the photos give a pretty accurate description of the tray/platter/whatever it is exactly ;-) I saw a very similar one on a site & they said it was "Steel" but I am not sure if it is. I read online this company made chrome items, that are very collectible, so maybe it is Chrome? That's about all I know about the item.    My questions are:  Do you know what kind of metal it is? Do you have any idea what my tray may have been used for? Do you know what time period it is from? (I was wondering if it was for holding a tea set b/c I saw one online like mine w/a tea set on top, but mine has the small intention in the middle, the tea set one did not).   Do you know what it is worth?  Thank you so much for your time!  ~Angel
