Vintage Ronald McDonald Picture

Profile picture for user walker_sherrie
By walker_sherrie, 22 September, 2013
Description

I believe it is from the early 70s.  Framed picture of Ronald McDonald skipping down a path with a white, blond little girl on his left (hold her hand) and a black boy on his right (not holding his hand).  I'd like to know the appropriate value.

I purchased it at a second hand/thrift store in the early 90s. I've owned it since.

Re: Vintage Ronald McDonald Picture

McDonalds - Ronald McDonald Photo cards 3 of 5 - Ronald in 1969 - Painted by Dick Locher - 1970's

Dick and I talked about his McDonald's paintings. I have an alternate version of the painting above that he painted the boy on the left as a white boy. He said Ray Kroc wanted to get Norman Rockwell to do the paintings and somehow found his way to him
