vintage welding machine

By clapton, 27 March, 2008
Description

This is a 110 amp a.c. arc welder. I have used and seen many welders being in the industry, but never anything remotely like this. The casing of the machine is completely made of wood and nailed together. It must be original, the nameplate with manufacturer (Dynamic Welder Co.)  and serial number is still attatched. I cannot find this welding company on the internet. There are no dials or controls on the unit, only plug ins where you put the lead and ground cables and a chart that tells you which ports to use depending on the intensity of heat you want to use. There is no date on the unit, so dont really know how old it is. I have no pictures to post yet, however any help would be appreciated..................

Re: vintage welding machine

I have the same welder Model 75D. It looks to be in excellent condition. Serial # 6L 106 319. According to the name plate, it was made by Dynamic Welder Co, 13 E 23rd St, Chicago 16, Ill. Any info that anyone has on these welders would be greatly appreciated.
