Vitreous Edwin M. Knowles China Co. 24-1-3

By almilward, 2 December, 2011
Description

Do not know much about the plate, I have had it for many years and today I decided to look up the backstamp and to my surprise, I could not find any photos and or info on this particular plate.  I found a ton of info on Edwin Knowles and hundreds of photos of patterns but not this one.  I have searched using different words, numbers, etc. and nothing.  Since I thought that was strange, I figured I'd see if I could get more info.  see if it's worth anything.

The plate is very lovely, it is in good/excellent( in my opinion) it is an ivory/white color but it looks crackled, and has maybe cherry blossoms (?) or some kind of floral pattern.  It has a backstamp that is greenish-black that reads vitreous (across the middle of vase) then Edwin M. Knowles China Co. 24-1-3.

I really hope someone can give me some info.

Thank you
