Description

This is a glass beetle made by Vittorio Costantini. Any idea as to its value would be greatly appreciated.

History This beetle was made by Vittorio Costantini. I came across it at a hole in the wall antique store. The seller had no idea what it was but with a little research I figured it out. These pieces have only been up for auction one time that I could find. Costantini does not generally sell his works of art. I verified this pieces authenticity through the museum curator at "The Corning Museum of Glass"

Re: Vittorio Costantini- glass Beetle.

These do come up from time to time, most of the ones I've seen seem to sell in the $450-800 range.
