AI Appraisal

Description Item has a brass ball handle at top and tip at bottom. Was told it was called a paper cane by someone familiar with walking sticks but they had no further info. It appears to be round paper rings placed over a flexible piece of matal and then varnished to look like wood. Any info would be appreciated
