It's a double sided candle snuffer, on the handle is a big W and under that is Wallace silversmiths, I'm wondering the value of it and the silver value, any info would help I can't find one like it online. Thanks
Wallace is a well known silver company. If there are no markings, such as "Sterling" or the numerical number for sterlng silver "925" (Sterling is 92.5% silver) it's silver plated. We'd retail one like this in good condition at about $35.00.
Did you find a picture and info like the year it was made, I'm definitely thankful for your reply, but it's old and interesting and I want to know exactly what I have,, I collect all sorts of coins cuz have the fun is looking up the exact year, mint mark, , but when I try looking this up i can't find not one picture or mentione of it ever experienced, including the Wallace Silversmiths official website. Lol it's driving me crazy.
