Description

Hi. I would love to get more information on this chest. It use to belong to my grandmother. It looks asian. The art is amazing. Its dusty. Doesnt really have any markings besides the carved letters/numbers under the latch. She always called it a hope chest. It also has a till inside to keep small items. I would love to know what the story in telling in the carvings and maybe when it was made. Im guessing it is not worth more then a couple hundred dollars. More interested in its story. Thank you for your time!
