Description On the top is a handle. There are 8 little raised flowers on the bottom, made out of thin metal. Each one is on a slightly raised pedestal. One flower is missing a petal. Does anyone know what this is? The pattern is kind of ? A leather stamp tool? Just a guess!

Cool & odd little tool , pernicious59 ..... I'm not really sure exactly what it was designed for , but I'll add .02 cents to the guessing dept . Perhaps an item used for block printing on fabric ( maybe for batik process? ) or paper . Maybe used for : embossing handmade paper ; impressing patterns in clay/tiles ; maybe for patterns in pastry items .
