Wooden Chair weave seat Boling Chair Company

By Samantha Bryant, 14 August, 2020
Description

I have a set of 2 Boling Seat Chairs that are peeling very badly. I love them and wondered if I should leave them or paint them. Are they of any value as is-- peeling? I have a set. They are from 1950&1960. They are similar to the Hitchcock Style

Re: Wooden Chair weave seat Boling Chair Company

These chairs are 20th Century reproductions of mid 1800's Country Sheraton type chairs originally made by the Hitchcock Chair company. The Boling name has been around since 1904 the company started by Captain Malvo Jackson Boling.
