Description
This painting was given to me about 7 years ago and was purchased at an estate sale some years earlier by my sister whom I am no longer in touch with. I remember her saying it was Italian or French in origin, but I can't be sure. She never stated the sum she paid for it, but she and her now deceased husband were avid high-end collectors. I love the painting and wish to know more about it and would also like to insure it.

<p>I appreciate your feedback! I do know that my sister's now deceased husband was a <strong>SERIOUS </strong>antique collector. He had 8 classic Rolls Royce autos and his entire, very large house was museum-like with wall-to-wall beautiful antiques... I just don't see why he would purchase and hang this painting if it was not an original? I hope it is because I love the piece and want to keep it within our family.</p><p>Does Sotherby's have a Southern California location?</p><p>Thanks again!</p><p>MH</p>
