Brian's grandfather, Jack Bittner, started the trade in the family in the late '60s in Brattleboro, VT. Now, his father has a shop in Chester, VT and his brother runs his business in Bethlehem, PA. She frequently lectures on antique silver to a wide variety of audiences and served as the first editor of the New York Silver Society’s Newsletter.
Phyllis also works as a consultant to private individuals and to insurance companies in the evaluation of claims for the loss of antique and modern silver.
