Lloyd Manufacturing Co. dinette set

By ctmjmj, 17 May, 2007
Description

I was told that this set is from the early 1950's and is Art Deco. I would like to know if this is true and would like any other information on it. There is a tag on the chairs which read " Creations In Metal By Lloyd, Lloyd Manufacturing Company (A Division of the Heywood Wakefield Co.), Menominee, MI. I cannot find any information on this set from the web. Thanks! ~Stephanie

I clicked on the isert picture icon, but I don't get that little icon next to the image URL box. That is why I'm not able to insert a picture.

Re: Lloyd Manufacturing Co. dinette set

I also have a Heywood Wakefield and Lloyd dining room set. However, mine is made of wood with an aluminum band around the table between the top and apron. Chairs have wooden seats and backs. The set has hairpin(?) legs on the table and curved chrome legs on the chairs.

Have not been able to find any info or pictures of my set. If i find any info on mine will forward to you. Good Luck Hunting!

Lynn
