This is a beautiful table. We also have a matching end table. The back of the marble has an insegnia of DMC made in Italy. The wood has a metal plate that says 100% solid mahogany, then describes where you get mahogany, then it is marked #413, and under that is says Mahogany Association Inc. I know that it has been in the family for over 50 years for sure.

Your piece is a 20th century reproduction of a circa 1870's Victorian table, the 'Mahogany Association' was just one of many set up during the early years of the 20th century. Its members all followed guidelines to assure their customers that real hardwoods were used in the construction of their furniture. The mahogany association closed in 1969. Value wise, about $150.00.

I have the same exact table. I also have the end table as well. It was given to my mom by my grandma and mom passed it on the me.
