Re: antique oak sideboard

We have the exact same piece of furniture. We have no idea of its origin. Ours is darker in color and has hand carved handles. It looks like yours has been refinished with the handles replaced. It would be fun to know if anyone has any idea about the origins of these pieces of furniture. Good luck.

Re: antique oak sideboard

I have this same sideboard and am interested in selling it.  Any idea of what it is worth?

Re: antique oak sideboard

This is a 1930's Art Deco style piece and is most likely a European import. Container loads of them were shipped in from Europe and England during the 1980's. Unless you have a marked/labelled designer piece they often sell for less than $400 at auction.
