Re: Vintage Russian Doll "Mordwa Woman"
Depending on the size, colors, authenticity and condition prices can range anywhere from about $20 to $80. Generally, the taller the doll the better the potential. They were handmade by Russian women and have a stocking-like look to the face. They were made typically in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The hallmark or maker's mark is commonly found on the undergarments. It should be a plain piece of fabric with words to the effect "Made in Russia, Mordwa.
Re: Vintage Russian Doll "Mordwa Woman"
It has been a while since I have been on here. I also have a Mordwa boy. Any idea about that one?
