Art is primarily valued by

Art is primarily valued by the fame of the artist and demand for their work, if an artist is unknown, or  "New" values tend to be very modest or based on their artistic merit. Since this piece is new, and the artist relatively unknown, its value would be pretty much what you paid for it.
