Hand painted porcelain vase in the form of a hand

By Ross Sormani, 20 December, 2007
Description

Beautiful vase in the form of a hand. This one has me stumped. I see Bennington potteries had made a series of Parian hand vases similar to this, but none being painted. Also I am relatively ceretain this is of English origin. Has a chip to the rim, see illustration, and some hairlines from the top, visible only to interior. Any help on origin of this piece/ manufacturer is greatly appreciated.
