Hi there, in my shop here, in sterling silver marked "sterling" I have recently sold a very similar pair like this for $335.00. You should make certain however that they are sterling, and if these are from the 1950's, they will be marked. Your bases will be weighted with concrete, and that is quite alright. Silverplate will command a much lower value.

In the image it appears that

In the image it appears that there is copper showing through the silver. Is this the case or just a trick of the light in the photo? I see these all the time in silver plate, Sterling and britannia metal.  The Sterling silver examples will have hall marks if English, American examples will generally be marked "Sterling".

It is apparent from the image that this item is clearly plated and NOT solid sterling silver. One may identify areas of plate loss or "wear" revealing the copper base metal underneath. This is especially evident on the "high" areas of the beaded pattern around the stepped base and the "drip" trays. It is normally not economically viable to have these replated and in this condition a replacement estimate of $50 - $100 is far more realistic.
