Royal Haeger USA R1618

By Anonymous (not verified), 7 January, 2008
Description

It's green with a glossy finish and it seems to be ceramic. It is some sort of box with a lid and the lid has a silver colored handle. It may have been a candy dish or jewelry box?It also has 4 raised feet on the bottom. It has a crack on the lid on the corner that has been glued back together otherwise it is in great shape.

Information

I would love to know what it is, how much it's worth and when it was made. I know about the history of Royal Haeger and that they mostly did planters and lamps, but mine isn't either.

The Royal Haegar line began

The Royal Haegar line began in 1938, part of the Haegar potteries that began production in 1900. Most of their production was for the low end of the market and dates from after World War Two. Values still reflect that low end of the market today, broken pieces such as yours rarely sell for more than $10.00.

Re: Royal Haeger USA R1618

I have this exact piece, with NO chips or breaks; what would it be worth?
