Hi Mike and Jeff

Barber chairs of this type date from the turn of the 19th Century into World War One. The were a hot item during the Nostalgia driven boom that was the late 1980's to early 1990's. Values for them now has dropped off, as it has for other Nostalgia items such as Juke Boxes, Bakelite radio's and Coca- Cola memorabilia. Of the 16 enamel barber chairs we listed sold at auction within the last year the average value was less than $450.00. Lovejoy

we have a similar chair, except base is round.  the numbers 504  and 500 A were found underneath the chair.  We are trying to find out more information and a value of this chair.  we have pictures if that would help.

Values are pretty much the same for your chair as the other one, only the wooden examples sell for more.
