Russell and Erwin Hummingbird Doorknobs

By Fatal Finality, 26 March, 2008
Description

Both knobs have hummingbirds on them.  They are connected.  (sorry I don't know much about antiques OR doorknobs)  They are different sizes.  I have more pictures but I'm having a hard time uploading them because of the size restrictions.

Re: Russell and Erwin Hummingbird Doorknobs

Amazing knobs!  My 1894 Victorian has Russel and Erwin knobs through out(1891 rose pattern) and R and E have a great demand for collectors and detail on yours is great.

Yours looks to be brass, used for interior doors, such as parlor doors.
