Based on the images this teapot looks fairly modern. The lack of a company mark isn't always a sign of age, quite often it's an indicator of a Japanese piece o0n which a paper or foil label was used. Teapots of this type by unknown makers have modest values , generally lessthan $50.00.

Lovejoy

Thank you ,

I figured it was either handmade in ceramics class or made in Japan

I have some peices that are marked with USA or no marks at all and they have the cracks in the finish where this peice does'nt. But my Aunt is sure it's 'older than dirt' and would'nt take my opinin about it,

again

Thank you

Katha
