Description
Filigree design. Brass base featuring four dolphins. Bold green and gold colors. Painting on lamps features three woman, one playing the mandolin. The woman figures are raised away from the body of the porcelin. Original silk shades were badly damaged and have long ago been discarted.
Inside both lamps, the number 212 , and capodimonte italy are scripted in black marker

I think I may have the same lamp, it has been passed down to me from my grandmother. Do you have any pictures? I will post mine today, my lamp also has 212 stamped on the inside and the design sounds the same.

I have this lamp also. Two women lounging, as they apparently listen to a lady playing the mandolin. It is gold and green on the bottom, and then there are raised panels, every other one has the picture on it. It is very hard to describe. Does have the dolphins on the base. Mine had a beautiful, but very damaged lamp shade. Bought a new one. Love the lamp. It came from my grandmother's house about 16 years ago when she passed away. She had it for many years. My sister actually got a pair of lamps, but their base color was black. They too are very beautiful.
